Saraswathi Vidyalaya Matric.Hr.Sec.School is recognised by Government of Tamilnadu. The aim of the school is to impart excellent education, train students to have development is all quarters and to bring to forefront the inherent talents in each student. Faith in God, obedience to elders and formation of clean habits are the basis of Teaching in this Institution. Saraswathi Vidyalaya is a Unique educational institution in Thiruvarur district. The school was started in the year 1991. The strength of the school was 40 students and 2 teachers with 1 driver. Our school location is just a kilometer away from Muthupet old bus stand (Near Bye Pass Road) Mr.R.Swaminathan and Mr.T.Venkaraman are the respectively the executive members of the Saraswathi Eductional Trust that runs the school. Our school strength increase year after year. Three floored main building with 1750 students and 74 teaching 35 non teaching are working with dedicated efforts.

Curriculam and Environment of leaning
We achive academic excellence through the development of intellectual curiosity, personal accountability and love of learning and promote leadership and service preparing students to take their place as global citizens.General
Student must exhibit politeness, care & respect in their words & deeds & respect every one. Students should be regular and be punctual. Courtesy and good manners are expected from all staff and children at all times.Children can bring packed lunch.
Prayer
At 9.30 Am every student is to be present and participate.Running around and chasing each other inside the classroom, corridors, staircases, sitting on the staircases of or on the floors is not allowed.
Classroom
Classroom discipline is to be maintained from 8.30 am onwords. A sense of belonging, appreciation and encouragement to each other must be followed.
Break Time
Slience must be maintained and students must not meddle with furniture electical and other items. No Physical and oral misbehavior. Positive group behavior and healthy interaction must be followed by helping and encouageing one another.
Uniform,apprearance & Id Card
All children should be well presented in the pescribed uniform have to display the id card issued by school on their person at all times. In the event of loss or demage, replacement Id card will be issued at extra cost.
Home work
Must be done without fail. Home work is given to an courage writing practice and understanding of time frame required for a leaning exercise.
CCTV Surveillance
Is under electronic at all times.Tests are not a judge the students but to give them practise of answering examination questions.
Leave
A leave letter should be produced prior to taking leave. The leave is to takes for an unforeseen reason. The leave is to be produced on the day of return to school.
Daily Test
The test will be assessed for the level and style of leaving through exercises and discussions on each concept taught on the previous day. This helps the teacher in getting regular feed back and student getting practice of answering and sloving problems.
Our Activities
Annual day
Annual day was organised on 22nd and 23rd Feb 2016. The first day was cultural programe done by our school students and the second day Vijay TV C.Gopinath Presided over the function as the special chief Guest. He was given his valuable speech to our students. On that function we honoured two teachers and one Driver who had worked when the school was opened.
SmartClass Room
Every body well known about ‘Edu SmartClass’. Smart class is an advenced technology implementation for school.Which provides tools and other contents for the students learning using latest media presentations. These class rooms are also called “digital” or “ new media classroom’. We have 10 new media class rooms in our school.
Smart class no one ever thought of before,bring technology into the classroom. It brought an exhaustive repository of world class digital modules or lessons.
Smart class brings about a complete transformation in classrooms.
Smart class use all interactive modules like videos and presentations and visually attractive methods of teaching becomes appealing to students who are already struggling with the traditional method of teaching in a classroom.
Some students and teachers have problems with chalk dust and they tend to suffer from allergic reactions. The smart boards saves you from such distress and won’t let you develop any health issues later.
One of the main reasons behind the constant increase in popularity of smart classes is the fact that this kind of education is perfect for all kinds of students.

The sports day was organised on 20th Feb 2016. Mr.Balasubramanian (Ex-Air Force Service Man) hoisted our school flag and Mr.Dr.R.Kumaraiyanathan M.A.,M.P.Ed.,PhD., physical director of Enathi Rajappa arts And science College at Enathi was Presided over the function as the Chief guest, special events and Common events for students and Parents are also organised. 279 medals inclusive of 93 gold medals are distributed by the Chief Guest to the students. 93 Silver medal 93 bronze metals.
Our school Saraswathi Vidyalaya Muthupet for the Academic year 2016-17 physical education department has been giving practice for the following games and athletic. Volley ball, Kho Kho, Kabadi, Throw ball, Foot ball, Ball badminton ect..
